Writing for the Workplace

Multiple Session Class

One hour sessions twice a week for two weeks


High school and college students: rising 9th-rising senior in college (13-21 years old)

Students will focus on learning skills related to practical applications for writing. Students will learn to compose professional emails and written correspondence, such as to a professor or employer. Students will see examples and begin designing a resume and cover letter that will look professional and get noticed. Students will learn how to fill out job applications in a neat and organized manner.

Max of 4 students


6/8, from 4:00-5:00, 6/9 from 5:00-6:00, 6/10 from 4:00-5:00, and 6/11 from 5:00-6:00


Kayla Moskowitz

SAT/ACT Prep, Middle and High School English Tutor

Kayla Moskowitz is an experienced English teacher working with middle school and high school students. Ms. Moskowitz holds a Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from West Virginia University. Ms. Moskowitz is certified in Secondary English Education grades 5 through adult. A strong believer in the power of positive thinking, Ms. Moskowitz is especially adept in building students' motivation. Ms. Moskowitz is excited to be a member of the Parrish Learning Zone team.
